San Diego All-American Soap Box Derby, May 29, 2010

Looking through the paper at work searching for something to go out and take pictures at, I found an article about the Soap Box Derby in Sherman Heights. The event was a qualifier for a chance to participate at the finals in Ohio this summer. The go-carts are simple in design with no self-propulsion other than a hill and some gravity. It was a fun event to photograph and look forward to next year.
